This list of the best Colorado wedding venues is insanely difficult to narrow down but as a seasoned Colorado wedding photographer, I'm going to give it my best shot ( pun-intended ) ; these Venues will not only have gorgeous Colorado views but I also take into account how the guests and vendors are treated to ensure you have the best wedding day possible. So let's get started!
Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin)
Dillon, Colorado
The best explanation I can give is that it feels like you are getting the best hug from the mountains around you and if you listen carefully, you can hear the snow-melt creek running through.
I could just let the photos speak for themselves but I need to make sure that you know that the staff here is top-notch and the food is AMAZING, every single time. Also, if you really want to give your guests the experience of a lifetime, A-Basin offers a ride up and down on the ski lift with these breathtaking mountain views. This Venue is so gorgeous and also includes a wooded area just walking distance from the main lodge to give your gallery some diversity. Worried about your flat-land friends? There is an oxygen car that you can have come up to serve your guests that might need a little help acclimating to the elevation: https://peakoxygen.com/mobile-oxygen-bar/
Don't just take my word for it - schedule a tour to check it out!
Ten Mile Station
Breckenridge, Colorado
Ten Mile sits at the top of a mountain and the road up runs right beneath a ski lift and the views here are obviously so stunning. There are several spots that your ceremony can take place to catch the views and there are options for the reception as well - a white tent or inside the Venue. There are several great spots for photos and included in this space are towering pines to catch some forest vibes as well. I've never not been blown away pulling up and I know your guests will be amazed, too. 10/10 recommend.
Della Terra Chateau
Estes Park, Colorado
With all of it's swanky and luxurious vibes and gorgeous Rocky Mountain views, this one is a no-brainer. Just minutes away from the Fall River Entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park (hello, I know RMNP like the back of my hand and love helping my couples get epic photos inside the park).
The staff is incredible and the flow is seamless and feels natural and upscale. Love this one!
Club At Flying Horse
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Rain or shine, this Venue is a winner. The atmosphere, views, and team here are unparalleled in the Springs. It feels like you've escaped somewhere in Europe and the cozy vibes next to the outdoor fireplace are so relaxing. LOVE this one.
Riverbend
Lyons, Colorado
Nestled right next to a rock wall and roaring river, this shaded and lush spot stole my heart the moment I walked in. Lyons is such a fun town and this Venue is quaint and idyllic. The bar is wrapped around a gigantic pine tree and the dance floor is right next to the river. The food is out of this world delicious and the drinks are on par.
Highly recommend!
Surf Hotel
Buena Vista, Colorado
I guess I have a thing for european vibes and roaring rivers and Surf Hotel is the epitome of both.
This spot has a walking path right off of the gorgeous ballroom that leads right down to the river where you can relax and take in the views. The ceremony space is lined with Aspen trees that make for some stunning imagery unlike anywhere else in Colorado. And again, the staff is amazing and the food is sooooo good.
Umbrella Bar
Crested Butte, Colorado
Imagine driving through Southern Colorado onto a road that leads you up to the most gorgeous mountain range and the coolest bar ever. Yup, you've come to the right place. This one has it all for a gorgeous wedding (and wedding gallery, ahem.) - The umbrella bar is really what it sounds like - a bar underneath a giant clear umbrella and makes for such a rad atmosphere.
Absolutely worth the trek to get here and my favorite spot in Colorado to hike around.
