Function & Flourish

warm hello

Function and Flourish is a story-telling photography team based in Colorado and serving worldwide. Owned and operated by a husband and wife: Michael and Christina.

We offer an all-inclusive luxury experience for those who value breathtaking imagery. We take care of capturing the laughter, tears, and love-filled moments. We handle creating your timeline. We give you our exclusive recommendations. We do these things because we really want you two to be focused on that which matters most - one another.

Our love for photography started in high school for both of us and then we rekindled that love after our own wedding experience once we realized the value and importance of hiring a true professional. We long to tell the story of your day with images that stand the test of time. Our mission is to make sure the bride feels beautiful, to make sure that the groom actually enjoys being behind the camera, and to make your closest family members happy cry tears seeing the gallery.

Worried about always feeling awkward in front of the camera? Fret no more. I actually teach other photographers posing and how to create an environment where you are not only having fun but also feeling completely confident. If you want to feel like models while having a blast and cracking up at dry grandpa jokes - look no further, I'm your number one hype girl.

So often you tell me how beautiful I make you look. But, I disagree.
No, honestly, I
get  to show you how beautiful you really are.

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” — C.S. Lewis
